Kansas City is one of seven finalists for a $40 million U.S. Department of Transportation grant that will transform transportation and technology in a way that benefits all Kansas City residents. This video shows our final pitch to the Secretary of Transportation. Our goal is to lift up the Prospect corridor with smart city technology and free public wifi, plus better connections to better jobs. The grant would also enable a regional approach that will position Kansas City as a national leader in developing autonomous and connected vehicles.
