Keith Booker joins the Cascade Media Group and brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team. A graduate of the College of William & Mary (BA – English 1993), Keith played 4 years, starting 3 as a linebacker for William and Mary’s football team. After the end of his athletic career, he attended Wake Forest Law School where he graduated with a JD in 1996. From there, he worked in corporate law in the Carolinas before moving to Kansas City to work with IMG Football as a sports attorney/ agent/ contract negotiator in 1997. Since then, he has had a wealth of experiences in and out of sports but sports and specifically youth sports has always been a passion. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar , a husband, and a father of 3 children who have and continue to make their mark in the classroom and on the field and courts (Elan 21, Lili 18 and Quincy 15). Whether it’s his own children or someone else’s, Booker wants to tell the stories of great efforts and accomplishments of today’s youth through his writing and the many multimedia platforms of the Cascade Media Group. He currently resides in Charlotte, NC and has been in Charlotte since 1999. “Keith Booker will primarily serve as a grassroots basketball contributor, penning a weekly column on basketball and another on a current event in the sports world. Additionally, he will host a late-night recap show twice a week, focusing on the NC State basketball playoffs. Keith will also conduct weekly interviews with high school, college, and AAU basketball coaches in a segment called ‘Coaches Corner.’ This aligns well with our ongoing work with the City of Fountains Coaches Association.”
