As the kickoff to our October Spotlight Series, Contractors Corner features Don Peebles and The Peebles Corporation as the number one developer in our countdown of 50 notable Black developers across the United States. Based in Miami Beach, Florida, The Peebles Corporation develops large residential, hotel, retail, and mixed-use properties through private investments and public-private partnerships. Its portfolio exceeds 10 million square feet and includes major projects such as Brooklyn Village in Charlotte, the Bankhead MARTA redevelopment in Atlanta, 108 Leonard in New York City, and the Royal Palm Hotel in Miami Beach.
