Calling for the dismantling of the entire racist, capitalist infrastructure of the police apparatus, Brooks offered her alternative of residential living spaces at the location of the meeting.
Painting a picture of the class disparity that exists in KC, Brooks took the time to personally hold a mirror up to the faces of the police chief, the mayor, a city pastor, and members of the board of police.
