I recently read where most fireworks and lottery tickets are bought by low income
people and then I asked myself why?
Why would people with the least amount of disposable income spend their hard
earned money on lotto and fireworks?
We’ll with the Lotto you actually have a chance to win something albeit a very
minuscule chance.
With fireworks you have the opportunity to blow off a finger, ear, an eye and do
damage to other parts of your body and lots of people do.
I guess the low income folks just want to have a good time and a release from the
day to day struggles and the Lotto and fireworks do the trick.
