In a war any war the line up is stated, agreed on and fixed. Before a football match ,
every player knows his position, his role, his strategy. All things being constant, the strategy will make us WIN.
If this works in all facets of our life. Why then is it not applied or practised in the family
setting? Yes in the family setting. Why? Because families are in essence the building
blocks of the communities, churches, nations and the world. So it is not the society
that’s broken, but the family structure that’s broken.
It is not the schools that are failing to discipline the 2ks or Gen Zs, it is in fact the
overwhelming number of ill disciplined children who come from families that do not
believe in discipline anymore that have flooded the schools.
Is this a blame article? No. It is an urgent call for the parent to come back to his and her
post of duty in the home. It is an urgent plea to every guardian to step up in the home
structure. Yes life is hard, life is overwhelming but In your absence, busy-ness and
anger, the world has taken you post of duty and destroyed the home!
Lets do something. Lets go back to our post of duty.
