Alan Kneeland, proprietor of The Combine, a pizzeria situated on Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, is breaking new ground as the inaugural Black president of the Greater Kansas City Restaurant Association. This noteworthy achievement comes in the wake of the association’s 106-year history.
In a dialogue with Kansas City Business Association To Date, Kneeland conveyed that stepping into this crucial role is “pretty significant”. He is amazed by the opportunity to helm this organization, particularly given its extensive legacy.
