Interview with Erik Dickinson – KCMO 5th at-Large Council Candidate

Category: Politics

The reality for many families in our city is little to no support for Kansas City’s youth outside of school. Working families of all backgrounds struggle to afford childcare and have limited options and flexibility. Kansas City should partner with organizations to provide programming options on days when school is out early or canceled, and parents need to work. My dream is for Kansas City to lead a regional effort to provide childcare for all needy families. We must prioritize a child-centered policy for KC kids’ safety, security, and success.
