I was born June 7, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, attended Philadelphia Public Schools and graduated from Murrell Dobbins Arca Vocational-Technical School in 1968. Married since 1978 to Patrese D. Brown-Tucker, a former Assistant District Attorney of Philadelphia, a former member of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judiciary from 1987 to 2000, and Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. I have two children, Leah Christine born in 1982, and Lindsay Rebecca born in 1986, both married, professional women. I reside with my wife in the 21st Ward of Philadelphia. September 2005 to present Appointed by the Governor of Pennsylvania, Edward G. Rendell to the Trial Court of General Jurisdiction on June 11, 2005, and confirmed by the Pennsylvania Senate on June 30, 2005. Oath of Office taken September 12, 2005.
Elected November 2005 for a ten-year term. Retained by-election in November 2015 for another ten-year term.
