Our conversation consisted of at this time of year have we forgotten how many brothers and sisters that have been incarcerated the conversation turned to the general cause of incarceration for most people of color and how the system in which we live in was built to see to it that 75% at least of people of color wind up in the criminal justice system and the shame that it brings from a psychological standpoint with self-esteem and other family members we also talked about a solution to some of these problems Mr. Nelson feels the only way that we can solve 99% of our problems as people of color is block voting and group economics and why haven’t we’ve been able to achieve those two goals that will give us a seat at any table.
