Representative Mark A. Sharp, a Democrat, represents Jackson County (District 36) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected in a special election in November 2019.
In addition to his legislative duties, Sharp has been an educator for five years.
He is a 2004 graduate of Hickman Hills High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing and business from Clark Atlanta University in December of 2009.
Sharp was born in South Kansas City, Mo., and currently resides in the Hickman Mills-Ruskin area, where he attends Concord Fortress of Hope.

Marlon Anderson (Democratic Party) is a member-elect of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 76. He assumes office on January 6, 2021.
