The purpose: To train the Greater Kansas City, Missouri community in facilitation skills designed to equip them in navigating and addressing community conflicts that are disproportionately impacting Kansas City’s African American urban core communities. This training will allow participants to convey effective peace-keeping skills to residents experiencing conflicts with others in the community (gang members, neighborhood groups, etc.)
This training is designed for neighborhood association members, faith leaders, community organizing leaders, families matriarchs, violence interruption volunteers, returning citizens, educators, and school conflict intervention program leaders.
