Introducing Minister Keith Brown the newest contributor to Cascade Media Group’s team. He will be conducting interviews and writing a column Brown knows what it means to have people of stature in your life. He is the nephew of Fred Curls, one of the founders of the influential Kansas City political organization Freedom Inc. Growing up, Brown was surrounded by prominent figures like Bruce R. Watkins, Leon Jordan, and Rosemary Smith Lowe.
In his professional career, Brown created Project Sankofa. This initiative aims to inspire students by showing them role models who look like them and fostering familiar and friendly relationships with people of stature. Project Sankofa has been running successfully for eight years and has positively impacted the students.
