This election year may find many of you unsure how to participate in a system that you fear does not represent your best interests. What if I were to tell you that it does not because you do not understand the importance of casting your vote. Our community has come to a cross roads, we must reassess our allegiance.
To belive you have to vote for one party or adhere to an ideology takes away your power. Your power is in the ballot you cast, the choice you make to support any candidate or measure put forth in the election. We discuss bloc voting the what does the bloc do if it does not carry the necessary power to make a difference. I understand the theory because it is half correct.
